Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description David Williams 2005-08-13 09:22:26 UTC
MediaWiki 1.4.6 installation
Please include all of the lines below when reporting installation problems.

Checking environment...
PHP 4.3.10: ok
Warning: PHP's register_globals option is enabled. MediaWiki will work correctly, but this setting
increases your exposure to potential security vulnerabilities in PHP-based software running on your
server. You should disable it if you are able.
PHP server API is cgi; using ugly URLs (index.php?title=Page_Title)
Have XML / Latin1-UTF-8 conversion support.
PHP's memory_limit is 40M. If this is too low, installation may fail!
Have zlib support; enabling output compression.
Turck MMCache not installed, can't use object caching functions
Found GD graphics library built-in, image thumbnailing will be enabled if you enable uploads.
Installation directory: /homepages/26/d69752397/htdocs/med146

I have no idea how the above error message could happen. Can you read out the

No response on this from a long time, and it concerns a near-deprecated old version.
