Moving a thread to a watched page does not fire notifications, where creating a thread on a watched page does. Use case: users report issues in threads on a central page, and admins move the threads to their respective project pages, that are in turn watched by project developers. This way the project maintainers are not notified of new thread on the pages.

I can confirm this bug is still valid.

On my local wiki I tried to create a new thread as anonymous user on a watched page (watched from my user account). This only fired a new message in "New messages" but there was nothing on the watchlist. What notification did you mean?
(In reply to comment #3) > What notification did you > mean? enotif for "watched threads", i.e. threads watched explicitly (individually) or via their parent talk.
