Description Omegatron 2005-08-06 02:21:26 UTC
1. Open two different sections for editing in different windows
2. Edit one and save it.
3. Edit the other and save it.

The first edit will be reverted when you save the second, even though it is two
different sections. If two different people were editing, their edits would be
silently merged.

I've also run into this annoying problem. A good test page is on the English
Wiktionary: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:Requested_articles

The conflict system assume a user does not conflict with himself.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 1150 ***
Comment 4 Andre Engels 2005-12-23 07:30:13 UTC
This is not a duplicate of 1150, although it is related. It is quite likely that
when there is a solution of bug 1150, this one still is broken. I therefore
re-open this bug.
