Description Dan Collins 2011-07-13 21:39:44 UTC
Section titles, and therefore the ids of several span elements, can be invalid if the section title begins with a number or period. Examples are in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefox - "64-bit builds" and ".NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1". These ids must be validated to begin with a letter and contain only the characters enclosed in brackets for clarity: [a-zA-Z0-9\-_:.].

I'm fairly sure this is a duplicate of bug 9530.
