Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/530.17

For example : Type Sun and stop typing in the link. You will see that n is not there in the Text to display box

From this I gather that when you type stuff into the "Link target" box, the text in the "Link text" box is one character behind all the time, updated summary accordingly.

You seem to have forgotten the attachment, but if my conclusion above was right you don't need to provide it.

I can reproduce it when the page (article) does not exist. As we auto-fill and auto-suggest the existing articles and we do not want to encourage users from creating links which do not link to actual pages, I do not see this as issue.
Comment 5 Roan Kattouw 2010-03-17 18:56:43 UTC
I disagree. If people accidentally do insert a link to a nonexistent page, the last letter of the text will drop off and they'll have to spend time figuring out why the hell that happened. This feature is broken and should be easy to fix.
