Description elian 2004-08-26 22:54:08 UTC
Some users of the german wikipedia proposed to add links to the previous and the
next version to the diff views of the history. This would facilitate navigation
through old versions.

Suggestion for not cluttering the interface too much:
adding to the diff view: "previous diff", "next diff"
adding to old version display: "previous revision", "next revision"
Comment 1 JeLuF 2004-08-29 18:16:04 UTC
DONE: Added previous/next links to diff pages.
TODO: Add previous/next links to old revisions.
Comment 2 Wolfgang Beyer 2004-08-31 16:23:06 UTC
It would be nice to have the followin 6 links for navigation:
1. previous/next links for the older revision window, changing only the older revision.
2. previous/next links for the newer revision window, changing only the newer revision.
3. previous/next links for both revisions in the main text window, changing the number of the
old and the new revision to be compared by the actual difference of version numbers.
The 4 links described in 1. and 2. reduce to 2 if the version difference is only 1 of course.

It is very expensive to find whether there is a revision between two revisions.
Determining
this for each diff would impact performance.

Those have been added in CVS HEAD (aka 1.4-alpha)
