The diff view on Safari displays non-needed (in-active) scrollbars. See the attachment.

I know of 1 reason where this happens with overflow:auto in webkit, and that is when the line-height != 1. https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33557

I cannot see a lineheight setting in this specific setup. Removing the div, or removing the overflow setting on the div, definetly does the trick, but this is a weird one for sure.....
