Description Denagam 2009-11-24 16:23:23 UTC
Hi,

I've installed the newest version of wikimedia this week and found that i can't save a page if there is an url(for example http://wikimedia.org) into the text. When i try i get the following error.

---------------------
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
----------------------

If i remove the url or put a space between the http and :// it does work. So i'm certain its the url that is breaking the functionality.

Anyone got a clue what could be wrong? Its a fresh install and tried this on two seperated webservers that are running the newest php and mysql.

Which version is that, 1.15.1? Also, do you have any extensions (particularly ConfirmEdit or other CAPTCHA extensions) installed? Try disabling them.

If correct i can see the version in the source-code: <meta name="generator" content="MediaWiki 1.13.3" />

If you refer to 1.15.1, i guess i don't have the newest version :x. Sorry for that.

@Max, i've checked the FAQ but can't find it.
