Description Huib abigor Laurens 2009-10-08 17:23:54 UTC
Hello dear dev,

I think the Commons communety has reached a consensus and I would like to ask the developers to enable the patroller right on Commons, this right should be given upon request to a administrator so a administrator should be able to give this right but also be able to remove it.

The vote was here:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Village_pump#Enable_patroller_permissions

Best regards,
Huib

The patroller group has been edded to commons with the patrol right. This group can be added or removed by any sysop on the project. This change is now live.

I just recieved a note that there should be a little more:

The patroller group should also have:
Have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled (autopatrol)

And there should be a second group with only
Have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled (autopatrol)

I'm sorry that I didn't say this in the first request.

Ok, there needs to be the following groups:

patroller => autopatrol, patrol
autopatrolled => autopatrol

Both of these groups can be added or removed to users by sysops.
