a) has been fixed in cvs, no idea about b), it's probably not an issue with the
testwiki but MediaWiki.

Avar,

you have fully butchered this module, for example, the parts for EConfirm are
missing now such as the line "$wgUser->mEmailAuthenticated = null;"
an outdated module was the base for your commit 1.104

Please can this module be reverted to Version 1.100, which was the last working
version.

Can you do this please as soon as possible ?

"SpecialPreference.php broken in CVS" isn't a very informative summary, see
http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/page.cgi?id=bug-writing.html

Anyway, I think I've fixed the issue in CVS (without your proposed massive
revert), please test to see if it worked.
Comment 4 T. Gries 2005-04-27 16:49:34 UTC
Fixed by Brion in SpecialPreferences.php version 1.107 and confirmed by me.

I could add a "keyword" to this bugzilla and close it, but some of you has told
me not to do so.

So it's up to you developers (pls.) mark and close this bug now to finish this
story.
