I am not being sent any notifications of new tickets in my queues, or of follow-up to tickets I own, despite having the respective preferences set to "Yes", and despite me receiving follow-ups and there obviously being new tickets. The histories of tickets still show the notifications being sent out. According to Mark Bergsma, the Wikimedia email server hasn't had anything to do with my email address (ultrablue at gmail) at all today, when the above notification was purportedly sent out. The last notification email I received was at 09:30 31 January 2009 (UTC). At least one other user in the IRC channel has the same situation as me, receiving their final notification at the same time. This situation is only slightly annoying to me (I keep having to log in to OTRS to check for follow-up) but if others are experiencing it too, it might be more worrisome.
/me raises his hand for being the other user on IRC. Actually, I should receive email notification on any action but I am not getting any. For new messages I am in the recipients list or new messages (which I dont get), for follow ups I am not on that list https://ticket.wikimedia.org/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTicketHistory&TicketID=2396703 I already had my mail address changed from freenet to gmail by an OTRS admin which had no effect at all.
I am also experiencing this bug, and I have talked to others that do too. Hope this can be fixed soon.
Me too. The OTRS system was upgraded circa 2008-01-30 per email "Wikimedia OTRS upgrade" from Tim Starling.
Should be fixed now. The problem was some null bytes in the notification table that somehow survived the fixup script.
Confirmed. Emails have started arriving.
