I think it would be great to see an Everything2-style soft links for Wiki pages. It'd be interesting to see where a particular page is leading people, and soft links would do that. Sometimes they're useless, but sometimes they can also indicate to people watching the page as to whether or not people are understanding the information there. It can also help people find possibly related pages to a wiki entry. Of course, I would restrict soft links to only pages that lead back to Wikipedia. I'll second this. Soft links often capture links which people do not feel are relevant enough to actually include in the article, boosting its value.
I'm not sure I understand the comment about 'pages that lead back to Wikipedia'. Are you suggesting adding some kind of offsite links instead of in-wiki link tracking?

In the context of Wikipedia, they would be links within Wikipedia that link pages together as people jump from article to article.
