Description Till Mossakowski 2008-11-23 12:01:11 UTC
Sometimes, <math>\varphi</math> is displayed as "\varphi", not as the greek letter.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Robinson%27s_joint_consistency_theorem

The page given no-longer seems broken.
Comment 2 Derk-Jan Hartman 2010-04-03 13:22:04 UTC
The issue is very dependent on the fonts you have installed. It's actually a dupe of 1347

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1347 ***
Comment 3 Conrad Irwin 2010-04-03 13:53:46 UTC
The description implied that it was "\varphi" no "ϕ" or "φ" at all. Still the dup status does no harm.
Comment 4 Derk-Jan Hartman 2010-04-03 15:41:22 UTC
Hmm, you are right. Perhaps the image could not be loaded for some reason, and the user was seeing the "alt" instead ?
