It should be pointed out that this happens in general if you make a latex file
with invalid contents, like if you bypass the math modules filters.

Analysis: The TeX code produces an empty DVI file, which dvips turns into an
empty EPS file with a bounding box of zero width and height. For some reason,
the convert program does not like this and converts the EPS file in a huge PNG file.

It's not clear to me why the severity is set to major, as this seems to affect
only maths expression which produce only whitespace, and this seems a silly
thing to do anyway.

I just tried this on the English Wikipedia, and all looked normal.
I guess some changes in the meantime fixed this bug.
