Description Mike.lifeguard 2008-11-08 20:26:32 UTC
14:19, November 6, 2008: Spacebirdy (meta.wikimedia.org) globally blocked 92.43.66.7 (expires 16:19, November 6, 2008, anonymous only) (cross-wiki-vandal) (local status)

...should instead read...

14:19, November 6, 2008: Spacebirdy@meta.wikimedia globally blocked 92.43.66.7 (expires 16:19, November 6, 2008, anonymous only) (cross-wiki-vandal) (local status)

...to match our other cross-wiki stuff like changing permissions on remote wikis.

That's a horrible hack in the other cross-wiki stuff, which will be fixed up in the next few weeks to use interwiki links. The global block list will probably be fixed in the same way.

Sounds good to me. Deleting the javascript that makes that "work" will be a pleasure.

What happened to the branch in which we had the database name in the interwiki table? If we had that, we could fix this up..

Marking this bug as Lowest priority.

I've done this in a batch to (usually enhancement request) bugs where:
* It is not clear that this bug should be fixed.
* It is not clear how to fix this bug.
* There are difficulties or complications in fixing this bug, which are not justified by the importance of the bug.
* This is an extremely minor bug that could not be fixed in a few lines of code.

If you're interested in having one of these bugs fixed, your best bet is to write the patch yourself.
