patch for Names.php 1.24/1.16.2.8 (3.10 KB, patch)
2005-03-01 20:30 UTC, Guttorm Flatabø
Details

Description Guttorm Flatabø 2005-03-01 20:28:35 UTC
I have updated Names.php to include some more selfnames found at links at
bottom, adjusted some comments and added Old Norse.

The patch is unified with 3 lines context made with WinMerge (line breaks should
be correct however), diffed to Names.php 1.24/1.16.2.8.
It should be applied to REL1_4 and MAIN.

Since the changes are so small, I have not done any testing.

That patch is completely broken. Why do you change all kind of languages not
even remotely related to Old Norse?
Comment 3 Guttorm Flatabø 2005-03-02 09:58:41 UTC
Sorry about that, I suppose I'll give up this Windows thingy and start using the
real thing (Linux with CVS).

I've changed many other things because they needed changing (native names
weren't native), although I've discovered that some of those changes (to ti and
or) are already covered in bug # 1532. The only thing not covered there is:

-	'ng' => 'Ndonga',		# Ndonga, (FIXME!)
+	'ng' => 'Oshiwambo',	# Ndonga

You find it "completely broken" because I changed languages not concerning Old
Norse, or were there other reasons?
