Description Jeff Bonham 2005-02-13 05:10:18 UTC
It seems like my bugzilla.wikipedia.org cookies expire every few days. I literally
have to log in again nearly every time I try to use this site.
Comment 1 Brion Vibber 2005-02-13 08:00:39 UTC
Looking at the cookies on my system, they are set to expire in 2037.

The login form has a checkbox for "only from this IP address"; if you are on a dynamic IP
address (dial-up, and many but not all cable/DSL systems) your IP address may change
from session to session, thus invalidating the login session and requiring you to log in
again.

Try unchecking this the next time you log in, it should help.
Comment 2 Jeff Bonham 2005-02-13 09:34:03 UTC
The login form checkbox for allowing cookies to last over different IPs has been turned back on
