Description Thomas Goldammer 2008-05-28 19:31:28 UTC
Hoi. We want to have a wiki for our internal discussions. Parallel to the enwiki thing it could be under arbcom.de.wikipedia.org. It should be set that only sysops can read and edit pages there (opting out of global userrights of course). Default language would be German, the settings could just be taken from dewiki (except for the stable versions extension ;) ).

Best regards,
Thomas Goldammer.

Thomas,

I have setup the wiki, but I have not added anyone yet. The English arbitration wiki is private, so it is not SUL, and no one can join unless someone sets them up. I assumed you wanted this one the same. I have it all setup, I just need to know who would be the primary bureaucrat? I assume you, since you put in the request.

Please advise,

Rob Halsell

Hi Rob, thank you very much.

Yes, sure, I can do this. (I only made the request because I'm the one of us who is a little bit experienced with bugzilla. ;) ) I think I would be able to give another user the same rights when I leave the arbcom one day?

I give you the list of the members:

*[[w:de:User:Proofreader]]

*[[w:de:User:Stefan64]]
*[[w:de:User:Streifengrasmaus]]
*[[w:de:User:SVL]]
*[[w:de:User:Thogo]]

Best regards,
Th.

Thomas,

This should be all setup now. Your password is set to null, so you will need to use the password reset tool to be able to login. You will then be both sysop and bureaucrat on the new wiki, and able to add users as you see fit.

If there are any other questions or concerns, let me know! Closing this bugzilla entry, but if something isn't right, feel free to reopen it and let me know in irc.
