Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Mathias Schindler 2008-05-06 21:08:43 UTC
This is a feature request to add a new mod_rewrite line to the existing configuration to turn urls like into something more human-readable like

Other features would be unaffected from this shortcut.

My first observation is that the URL is not localised in German. What's missing is a link to consensus on what the community would like to do with this. Can you provide a link to that?

Any Progress on this?
Comment 4 Nemo 2012-08-23 18:58:30 UTC
There's no consensus to use this kind of URL scheme, it's not really about "progress" as far as I can know. For instance it's used on or [[tswiki:]].
