it would be nice if cortado would have a function returning the current play position,
attached patch adds a function getPlayPosition that returns current position in seconds.

what do you mean by tested? 
i have a version with it running on http://pad.ma it seams to work, 
(tested on linux/java 1.6 and os x / java 1.5)
its used to update the timecode and position on the timeline.

Committed in r36445, live copy not recompiled.
