Description Max sonnelid 2008-04-15 16:32:02 UTC
Add a special page for statistics over a users edits, moves, uploads etc. About so have I think me:
--------------------------
== Edit Count ==
This special page view statistics over a users edits, moves, uploads etc., this works even for IP-addresses.

IP-address or username: [           ] [Go]

*User: -
*Total edits: -

It's would be great if this feature enter before the relase of version 1.13.

An edit count extension already exists, see http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/extensions/EditCount/ if you would like it installed on a wiki please clarify to which wikis.
Comment 3 Max sonnelid 2008-04-15 18:35:04 UTC
But I think is should be integrated in the core MediaWiki.
Comment 4 Robert Leverington 2008-04-15 18:36:20 UTC
Then state that in the bug report summary and reopen this bug.
Comment 5 Siebrand Mazeland 2008-08-18 21:27:53 UTC
Just install one of the available extensions mentioned above. Statistics about user behaviour are seen by many as a privacy concern. Aside from that, it is quite resource heavy, as the current database model has not been optimised for it. That will make it unlikely that this type of feature would be enabled on Wikimedia wikis. Closing this with WONTFIX.
