I noticed this bug when I was playing around with the Special:Emailuser. Apparently you can email it to yourself.
Comment 1 Brion Vibber 2008-03-05 19:01:17 UTC
Indeed, you can email it to yourself. Not a bug. :)
Comment 2 Andrew Leung 2008-03-05 19:59:47 UTC
But that's lame. Nobody would send email to themselves unless they have no one to talk to =(
Comment 3 Daniel Friesen 2008-03-05 22:17:22 UTC
:/ I strongly disagree... I e-mail stuff to myself plenty of times when I don't have a Portable Drive or other method of storage handy to give myself notes on stuff I need to do. It sounds quite sane for a user on a public computer to send an e-mail to themselves telling them that they need to check out a page or a Site CSS/Script bug when they get home.

Changing Product: Wikimedia → Mediawiki
Changing Component: WikiBugs → EMail
Reason: The wikibugs component is designed for the I.R.C. bot.
