Description Anakin 2008-01-14 21:21:41 UTC
A user reported on the Wikipedia Village pump that the Special:Linksearch page on Wikipedia is now limited to 50 results. The controls to go to the next page or change the number of results per page aren't there, although they can be entered into the URL manually, e.g., http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALinksearch&target=*.wikia.com&limit=500. I noticed a new version of the Linksearch extension appeared on mediawiki.org a few days ago, did this introduce the bug?

Fixed in r29766.

Not entirely sure why... but the getName() func on the QueryPage subclass was removed in r29519 when the localization message loading was changed. This appears to break paging, as we lose the link back to the special page if we don't know its name.
