We have had the upload page hidden with css for about 2 months now.

In our villagepump (URL above), we have decided that the function should be disabled because no complaints have been made to the removal of the upload function (during the two months it was hidden), and that we will use commons for uploads instead.

Should the upload link in the sidebar point to the commons, then?

No, at the moment it links to a site that are a help to how to upload pictures. Much like http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Upload/en but we have our own sort of "help page" of how to choose the right licence and so on.

So we like to keep that link to point to "Hjälp:Ladda upp filer" (as it does now).
