Description Vague Rant 2004-12-23 06:06:08 UTC
It appears that under MediaWiki 1.4, any article which begins
with a wikitable (and perhaps with a HTML table, I haven't
tried) inserts a rather large white space. At first, I assumed
someone had placed a category at the top of an article, but
when I tried to fix it, I found that there was nothing to fix.
It's not especially important, but it's bothersome.

This apparently happens if the table is included as a template, some issue with
$linestart. See bug 1176
