Description Johannes Rohr 2007-09-27 05:22:03 UTC
The contents of the Upper Sorbian test wiktionary should be migrated to the newly created http://hsb.wiktionary.org

I've enabled Special:Import for sysops, allowing import of pages from the incubator.
Comment 2 Johannes Rohr 2007-09-27 06:54:39 UTC
I hoped that there was an automated solution for importing and converting whole category trees into a new Wiki. If this isn't the case, it means that hundreds of pages will have to be fixed and imported manually. :-(
Comment 3 JeLuF 2007-09-27 07:40:11 UTC
I'm not aware of such a tool.
Comment 4 Brion Vibber 2007-09-28 15:31:29 UTC
1) List the relevant pages (a prefix list usually does the job)

2) dumpBackup.php

3) importDump.php

4) Optionally clean up the titles to remove the prefixes, using a batch rename.

Should do the job ok I suppose.
Comment 5 Johannes Rohr 2007-09-28 16:03:12 UTC
However, this sounds like something that requires shell access.
