Description Doug Strain 2007-09-03 21:20:55 UTC
When editing a template that transcludes other templates, these are listed as "Pages transcluded onto the current version of this page:". This is very handy for tracing the source of some "behavior".

If a 2nd page is transcluded only if an input parameter meets a ParserFunction condition (which will rarely happen when editing), the 2nd page is hidden from the list. This is not very handy. (I don't know if you've noticed, but a lot of templates look just like a bucket of randy worms. For large templates with lots of conditionals (e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Geobox_Settlement&action=edit), it's enough to make a boy, you know, lose his concentration.)

Listing all transcluded pages on the edit page would be a Good Thing.

Thanks
Doug
