Description Mets501 2007-08-30 03:47:30 UTC
The Sandbox is one of the most important pages on Wikipedia, as it helps newbies test out the software without being labeled as vandals. Equally important to the Sandbox is the Sandbox header, which explains what the Sandbox is, and gives other information. On just about every edit, the header is removed, and bots are constantly working to restore it. It would be great if we could get a new MediaWiki page, like [[MediaWiki:Autoheader]] or something, in which we could place specific pages and their associated templates. For example, for the English Wikipedia, the first line could be:

Wikipedia:Sandbox|Template:Please leave this line alone (sandbox heading)

Thanks.
