Description Dan Jacobson 2007-08-15 17:52:30 UTC
Consider what happens when you click
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/

It's just a trailing slash different from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/

But the best you can do is try to get there from deep from within the offered
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search/Wikipedia_Signpost/

Therefore perhaps say in a link "did you mean [this without the trailing slash]?"

"Foo" and "Foo/" are different titles, and should not be treated as equivalent. It's possible to change the message for Wikipedia, but this is a local issue, and not a MediaWiki bug.
