Currently, if a redirect points to an other redirect, you don't go to the real page. This means that if you have a page with many redirects which must be moved, it takes a lot of time to fix them all - and this means trhat users looking for this page don't go straight to it.

My solution is simple: Allow double redirects (but not triple). This way, to move a page with redirects, you can do the following - and at all times, users looking through any redirect for this page will find it:
1) Make sure no double redirects to the page exist. (At en.wikipedia, a bot handles this on a regular basis).
2) Move the page. All redirects to the original are now double redirects - which, according to this request, should work.
