We have discussed in the Village Pump of Catalan language Wikipedia (http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viquipèdia:La_taverna#Patrulla_de_canvis_recents) and we think that it would be very useful for us to have the patrolling of Recent Changes feature activated (only for sysops). Is it possible to use this option in our wiki (cawiki)?
I add than the page in which we voted for deciding that is http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viquipèdia:La_taverna/Arxius/Tecnicismes/Recent#Patrulla_de_canvis_recents and is in this page where you can find the history of the votes (this page is included in the other page added by Xaviersmp).
The community decided at http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project:La_taverna/Arxius/Polítiques/Recent that it should be activated to all users (autoconfirmed) with more than 4 days old. Can you commit that, please?
Done. 'cawiki' => array( 'user' => array( 'patrol' => false ), 'autoconfirmed' => array( 'patrol' => true ), 'sysop' => array( 'patrol' => true ), ),
Sorry but we (registered users without sysop right and more than 4 days of age) can't see it working... Wont it be easier if you add: $wgGroupPermissions['autoconfirmed']['patrol'] = true; $wgGroupPermissions['autoconfirmed']['autopatrol'] = true; ? Al least it works for me in a local wiki... Thanks!
Now, suddenly, it start working... I thought this changes was applied immediately...
