Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Brion Vibber 2007-05-21 18:01:48 UTC
Quoted-printable encoding of non-ASCII chars in the bugmail subject line gets spewed out raw in the current versions of the wikibugs script, like so:

<wikibugs> (mod) Special:=?UTF-8?Q?Import=20cannot=20import=20?= =?UTF-8?Q?characters=20like=20=C3=A4?=,=?UTF-8?Q?=20=C3=A1?=, ... -  (brion)

Either the strings from the mail should be decoded properly (say by using an email parser module) or the wikibugs IRC feed should come directly out of a Bugzilla plugin. :D

Confirmed. +shell
Comment 3 Aryeh Gregor (not reading bugmail, please e-mail directly) 2009-03-06 11:12:03 UTC
Was this fixed by r48079?
Comment 4 Andrew Garrett 2009-03-07 02:23:15 UTC
After a HEROIC struggle with CPAN on mchenry, the forces of good (Brion and Andrew) prevailed!
