As reported on MediaWiki.org (why there, I've got no clue), the portal page of BugZilla uses http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Bug.png. A request there was made for it to use http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Image:Computer_bug.svg.
why? it would have to be converted to PNG for display anyway.
I don't know. I'm just bringing the bug here, where someone could see it. :P

I think it should change the link to http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/70/Computer_bug.svg/300px- Computer_bug.svg.png by using the generated PNGs, which is done by the ImageMagick. Also please concern the Commons images delete issue as we stated at the mail before (http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2007-April/031090.html).
all that will do is mean the bugzilla main page will break if something changes about how SVGs are generated by MediaWiki (which is not done with ImageMagick, BTW). please provide an actual reason that this change should be made.
