Hi! I'd like to request the creation of a mailing list for the Language Subcommittee of the Special Projects Committee. Currently, most of our business is conducted via e-mail, which can be very bothersome, and it is easy to forget to add all of the members' addresses when replying, etc. The mailing list should be set up as a private list; public archives will be available, but there will be some amendments to the setup that I think (but I don't know for sure) are not possible to include with the mailing list system Wikimedia uses. I hope this is possible. Thanks!
You guys need to tell us specific things such as: * preferred list name * who will be list admin otherwise we'll make up a name like "Pumpkin". ;)
Pumpkin isn't that bad, eh? Preferred name would be langcom-l (like the recently closed wiki). I can be list admin I guess (assuming list admins can set other list admins as well?).
