Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Matthew Beermann 2007-04-04 21:32:14 UTC
In the most recent version of Editcount (checked out from the SVN trunk), it's
reporting some strange percentages for certain users:

Total 1,542 100%
(Main) 1,078 0.06%
Talk 27 1.75%
User 15 0.97%
Image 32 2.08%
Template 12 0.78%
Newsletter 51 3.31%
Architecture Experience 239 15.5%
Architecture Experience Talk 1 0.06%
System Infrastructure 84 5.45%
System Infrastructure Talk 3 0.19%

Notice the (Main) namespace: 1,078 / 1,542 == 0.06%? I think this might just be
a formatting error of some kind - the real number should be 69.9%.

Fixed in r21026.

The previous code was trying to calculate percentages using the localized number
formatting; this produced
bogus results when thousands separators or non-ASCII digits showed up.
