Description Jason Spiro 2007-03-22 10:29:23 UTC
When you add remove 1 or 2 short phrases from a page, or maybe even more,
MediaWiki should generate an auto edit summary showing what you removed, e.g.
'-ft: The population of African elephants has tripled in the past s(...400 more
characters...)TEPHEN COLBERT RULES!!!.<br><br>'.

This bug is one of a series of nine feature requests I am making for new auto
edit summary logic: bug 9372, bug 9373, bug 9374, bug 9375, bug 9376, bug 9377,
bug 9378, bug 9379, and bug 9380.

Actually maybe it should say 'Removed: ' then the removed text. That'd be
clearer to newbies than just '-ft'. Also, single hyphens like the one in '-ft'
are hard to see.
