The en.wikipedia.org edit pages' character insertion shortcut for Í inserts Íí
instead.

the template:

Remove the second 'í'.

ThÃnks, I hadn't looked closely enough.  I've put the request on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_talk:Copyrightwarning as the page is
protected.
