Can someone enable the http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Email_notification or something similar 
in il.wikimedia.org?

Note that that extension has not been maintained since March 2006 and the features it implements are 
mostly available in MediaWiki proper now.

OK - I dont mind how the feture is enabled - I just need something similar to what meta and commons have.

Which aspects; email notification on changes to user and user talk pages, or to
watched pages, or some other combination?
