I created an account there using my usual username, ReyBrujo. Firefox remembered the password I chose, and I even received a mail expiring on March 4 to confirm my address on February 25. Clicking on the confirmation link delivers the message "Your e-mail address has been confirmed. You may now log in and enjoy the wiki." However, I can't login, my password is not accepted, and when clicking on the "E-mail password" button at ne.wikipedia.org login, it throws me the message "आगमन त्रुटी <br>Login error: There is no e-mail address recorded for user "ReyBrujo".: ईमेल पठाउदा त्रुटी भयो Error sending mail: There is no e-mail address recorded for user "ReyBrujo".
To reproduce it, use http://ne.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Confirmemail/81701deacec3c3f71cce620c78bb21c2 as confirmation email, where you will notice it agrees with activating my email. Then, go to http://ne.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Userlogin using ReyBrujo as username, and click the e-mail password button.
There is indeed no user_email although the email got authenticated. I am not sure about our policy on that kind of matters.
If it's a new account (i.e. no edits) I would suggest to simply set the email address in the DB by hand. I don't see what harm it could do.
Thanks for checking this out. I have registered accounts in many other projects and could not reproduce this. I will appreciate if you could add the mail by hand (I had just created the account and did not do any edit). As you can see at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:ReyBrujo/Dump_statistics_table , I have registered the nick ReyBrujo in every Wikipedia and related project where I review databases to catch spam. Thanks for any help you can give me.
