Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Could the "new messages bar" not be activated when the only edit to the user
discussion page was subsequently rolled back?  Or maybe this could be phrased as
"no total change=no bar".  

An annoyance vandal has been targeting my user pages ([[:en:User:BanyanTree]])
for a while, as well as a couple other select users.  (I'm not sure how I got
into such [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Book_look
distinguished company], so I suppose that I should be honored.)  The vandalism
is invariably rolled back but I still have to check to see if there were any
good edits as well, as well as go to the talk page so the bar disappears. I have
limited time to spend on the wiki these days and would prefer to head off into
the wilds of the wiki immediately.  Alternatively, this could be an option in
preferences.
