To Whoever in charge: I am one of the administrator in Chinese Wikipedia. Recently, we have been vandalised by unknown new accounts. These new accounts make use of the function "move" to vandalise articles and many administrators' user pages. These scrupulous actions have caused many administrators to invest unnecessary time to restore things back to normal. Therefore, we discussed this issue and reached a consensus. Here is the consensus we reached: http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:%E6%96%B0%E7%94%A8%E6%88%B6%E7%A7%BB%E5%8B%95%E5%8A%9F%E8%83%BD%E6%B0%91%E6%84%8F%E8%AA%BF%E6%9F%A5 Summary of the consensus in English: 1. In order for a new account to use the "move" function, this account must has at least 50 edits. 2. This account must be at least 5 day-old. I would like to ask you to execute this new policy on Chinese Wikipedia. I look forward to your reply. Thanks you. These are my user pages, feel free to contact me should you have any questions: http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Seasurfer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Seasurfer Sincerely, Benedict
To set this, we'll have to change the same values that semi-protection uses. Is that acceptable?
