Description Mücahit Senol 2007-02-09 21:39:23 UTC
Firstly my English is not so good. I try to explain with simple words.

That problems occurs only in Firefox which works under Linux.

When I try to edit a page; system open a new page and there is a text area which
I can enter my text, change the content and there is a submit button. The
problem is the "textarea"'s font - size very small in Turkish Wikipedia. There
is no problem in English, German, French or Spanish Wikipedias. Here the screenshots

Can't reproduce on Firefox 2.0.0.1/Windows XP SP2. What exact Firefox version
and Linux distribution are you using? Could you inspect the textarea with
Firebug <http://www.getfirebug.com/>?

What exact CSS rules does Firebug display when you inspect the textarea? When
you right-click the background of the page and select "View page info", is
"Render mode" set to "Quirks mode" or "Standards compliance mode"? And again,
exactly what Firefox version and Linux distribution are you using?

> My Firefox version is 2.0.0.1
> And My Linux Dist. Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy

1) Anyone else who's reading this, can you reproduce?

2) Mr. Senol: could you answer the other two questions I asked in comment #3
(render mode and exact CSS rules)?

3) Please post any further replies as replies to this bug, not as new bugs. You
can do this by going to this bug's URL, entering your reply into the "Add
comment" field, and clicking "Commit".
