On the German-Wikipedia we want to improve the links in the sidebar as shown in
the example above. Actually only second level list elememts can correspond to a
link on the navigation bar. Please add the possibilty to use the same syntax for
subheadings and headings:

Example:
* mainpage|mainpage-url
* anotherpage|http://www.wikipedia.org
** portal|portal-url
** help|help-url

So you want the possibility for some of the list items not to be bulleted?  This can be done via 
CSS.
