Description João Ornelas 2007-02-04 07:18:03 UTC
There is an ongoing debate over at the portuguese wikipedia about renaming some
namespaces, mainly for clarity and URL simplification (remove percent-encoded
character).

The proposed changes, at this time, are "Usuário"=>"Utilizador" (User);
"Predefinição=>Modelo" (Template); "Usuário Discussão"=>"Utilizador Mensagens"
(User talk page); "XXX Discussão"=>"XXX Debate".

While the change hasn't been voted yet, it would be nice to know if these
changes are possible, should the community decide they're worthy.

The debate BTW is being held here:

Thanks!

Forgot to add, the "XXX Discussão=>XXX Debate" refers to all other (non-user)
talk pages.

Namespace changes are entirely possible. Please reopen this bug (or open a new one) if you all come
to an agreement on the change.
