Fullstops generally work correctly, but if it is in a namespace:
Putting the article name into the search box, clicking go works, but
links to the article act as if doesn't exist - red link, edit page
Once it reaches the edit page, the contents are there, but in the textarea.

Therefore, the only way to reach the page correctly is if you go directly there by 
knowing the exact name.

Can you provide an example? (link to site, name of namespace, configuration
snippets)
