Description とある白い猫 2006-12-16 07:39:18 UTC
Recently (as of this post) there had been yet another inter-wiki vandal attack.
The vandal was uploading vandalism images on commons and then using it on heavy
use templates on en.wiki as well as others.

When a steward was consulted for assistance, she explained her lack of access
and that a developer would have to deal with it. Stewards basically have the
power to do one block at a time per wiki which is quite unreasonable... I am
explained that there is no software to do interwiki blocks yet.

The interwiki vandalism thing will only get worse over time and developers
should not be bothered with vandal stupidity. They have their hands full with
mediawiki.
