Currently, calling this URL:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search/Sjo

takes you to [[SJO]], which in turn is a redirect to [[Juan Santamaría
International Airport]].

I think [[Special:Search/Something]] should always bring up a page of search
results.

I would very much like to do this. I *hate* the Special:Search/Foo auto-redirection behavior.

I think this is a good idea. I recently had to fix a few URLs to append the param for full search, which I think is a tad counter intuitive.
