Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Rowan Collins [IMSoP] 2004-11-01 17:27:10 UTC
[Originally reported as part of bug 813, by Aaron Peterson]

"and every page should be able to be viewable as a category by passing an option
?view=category or something like that..."
Comment 1 Rowan Collins [IMSoP] 2004-11-01 17:33:56 UTC
Could you expand on this request please?

What would the content of this view be? A list of links *to* the page? (We
already have [[Special:Whatlinkshere]]; but maybe we should redesign that?) Or a
list of links *from* the page? (For what purpose?) Neither really resembles the
semantic meaning of Categories, since there are bound to be links both to and
from that don't really reflect an "X is-a Y" relationship; but maybe you just
meant a similar output format to that of Category: pages?

For what were you hoping to make use of such a feature?
