We, on the Swedish Wiktionary, see no use (according to the discussion indicated at the given URL) to allow local uploads of files, but to let commons take care of everything in that respect. Would someone please make the necessary changes? \Mike
Due to problems stemming from the es.wiki disable. I'd like to raise reservations for this request. Until a workable solution comes about this should not be done. - Cool Cat
What problems are those?
"Drive by" mass copyvio uploading and not enough admins who speak the language.
Swedish Wikitionary is a lot smaller than Spanish Wikipedia. I don't think there will be a problem.
Actually I am inclined to withdraw my original objection. Since this is only for a wiktionary. We still need a workable solution for the drive by copyvio uploads from es wiki.
Wiki updated. Upload is now disabled on sv wiktionary.

...or do I have some special permissions being bureaucrat there? Or was only .jpg blocked? (another user - admin by the way - tried that and didn't succeed uploading it)
Hm, no, even [http://sv.wiktionary.org/wiki/Bild:vanlig_anv%C3%A4ndare_uppladdning.jpg "ordinary users"] manage to upload .jpg images. I'll reopen this as the disabling obviously didn't catch.
typo in the config file, should be really disabled now.
