Description Guillaume Paumier 2006-10-14 17:43:11 UTC
Hello,

Please enable the import feature on English-language Wikibooks (see
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Wikibooks:Request_for_enabling_special:import) and
add en.wikipedia as import source.

Thanks!

We're currently holding off on transwikiing from wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Copy_to_Wikibooks and http://
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Articles_containing_how-to_sections), in the hopes that the special:import tool can be enabled
fairly quickly. Transwiki the old way has been problematic due to a lack of links back to the edit histories, and in many cases they
are unavailable due to the articles' deletion after they are copied.

Hopefully this is not a difficult bug to fix!
